Hi, I’m Mathieu and I write on www.Hardware-Revolution.com to help out students, gamers, professionals, people working from home, well anyone actually, understand computer hardware and how to make the best choices regarding computer(s).
I’ll be discussing with you about what are the best hardware parts for your custom PC. While I make suggestions, you are entirely open to comment and let us know what’s your opinion! I love being proven wrong, because it shows that I can still improve, which is one thing I strive in order to offer to you the best content possible.
My goal: I want YOU to be able to get the best bang for the buck for your computer parts and have the choice to choose the best part for your system for a given price. Performance and value drives me!
A bit about me and my experience with computers.
I opened up my first computer case over 8 years ago, to see what it was made of, how it works and since then I’ve developed a great passion for computers. Especially for all the hardware and bits making the magic happen.
In a similar way that people like to modify and build their own custom car or motorcycle, I enjoy doing the same with PCs. I like to tune them, I enjoy reading other tech websites, overclocking forums and computer blogs on the subject. Especially the two latters being my favorite type, as they are more user driven. It’s also why I chose to publish on a blog platform, to be able to have intelligent and performance driven conversations with other people.
Over the years, I’ve built my own computer systems, including one that currently uses water-cooling. I’ve also developed a great expertise with overclocking, by reading a lot of forums, posts, websites and of course, by overclocking my own computers, pushing their limits further and further.
I enjoy custom building computers and I intend to work on building and assembling a custom computer, including case made from scratch, using various materials as soon as I will take the time to plan and be able to fund it.
Priorto blogging, I’ve built many computers for my friends and repaired countless ones over the years. After helping out so many people close to me, I’ve decided to try to out help as many people as I could and this blog is my way of doing this. I want to help people understand computer hardware and how they can easily build their own custom computer that will be faster, will be their own custom work and cost less than the usual branded computer.
I’m open to any question, if you need help in any way with your computer and it doesn’t matter what your question is! No question is too dumb, as a matter of a fact, the person who does not ask the question is dumber and will stay that way, unlike the person who asks it. As a friend told me once “The first step toward intelligence is to admit your stupidity first.” It will be my absolute pleasure to help you out, as this is about a passion for me. Of course, I hope to learn many things from all those questions too.
