His currently set-up is the AMD X2 5200 CPU, XFX 8800GT AlphaDog 512 (gaming), Quadro FX 1400 (Maya), 6GB DDR2 and ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe motherboard (which will handle the Phenom 9850). The current new games are power hogs and he is geeting minor stalls. So if I was to upgrade, is it better to upgrade to the Phenom 9850 BLACK EDITION for $169.00 or the X2 6400+ $129.00? Great article and now I need your advice.
