Actually, I posted this last year, on July 15th. Quite amazing how prices changed in a year, isn't it? That monitor is now $200 less! The cpu is $320 less!

As for prices, they change everyday. The worse right now are video cards, as the competition between AMD(ATI) and Nvidia intensifies. The Radeon 4870 512MB went from $160-$170 to $125, in about a week. Now going up and down with offer and demand.

Mathieu,

It was fun to look at your business computer.

But, I have issues: The processor is only $249.00 Oh, the difference a week makes. I bought a slower, older Intel last week for ten USD more.

But, the mobo is "Deactivated", got to watch those things.

I also disagree about the screen your $500 plus 24 inch screen isn't a bit better than my ASUS VH236 at 23.5" and $249. a business computer wants a roomy, but good business practices also call for reasonable performance and a balance of savings.

On one thing we agree, even if we can't always do it. Get the biggest bang for the buck. As we saw in todays "Business" computer, the ground is constantly shifting under our feet.
