December:
For December, I have quite a few ideas, I’ll probably update the Web PCs, introduce HTPC (Home Theater PCs) builds and quite possibly tackle the ultra-portable laptops to help figure out which one would suit you best.

On the days where there are no planned posts, I might just as well take on some news in the computer world and give you my opinion on it.

Suggestions?
If you have any suggestions, I’m open to hear them as well.

i was about to ask for a good gaming build for around $2000(candian which i think this site is anyways)building it myself(gulp...i'm not very brave). i also go to tom's hardware but the problem is the posts get pushed back so fast you barely get any answers b4 being relegated to page 6 despite bumping attempts. frustrating. i'll be patient and wait till the 20th :-).

    Chad,

The builds are priced in USD, but you can simply go to your favorite Canadian store (Ncix.com, newegg.ca, tigerdirect.ca, etc.) and get the same parts. For $2000 CAD, you should probably use the $1500 model as a base, with the higher prices in Canada, it should come close to $2000 CAD.

Not to mention that the $1500 Gaming PC got published today, meaning you can start looking now ;)

    Hi Mathieu

I am interested in your current opinion of a best photo/video PC (updated from your recommendations ofsummer 08) - with Windows 7, perhaps i5-750, RAID 0 etc. Will you be doing an update in the near future? If not, could you comment on what would need to be different from the gaming machine specs?

    Trevor
