CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA2800BH

About the CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA2800BH

This model is a great step up in performance as you get the all new AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core CPU, which is slightly more powerful than the i5-7400, it also offers a better overall performance as the Ryzen 5 1400 has Hyper-Threading (8 threads) as opposed to only 4 threads for the Intel i5-7400.

With the Radon RX 470 4GB graphic card, this model is ideal for gaming at 1920 x 1080 or on a 1080p HDTV with higher frame rates although some more demanding games might have you tune down visuals to get better frame rates.

About the CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8020A2

Similar to the model that we used to recommend, only now it comes with a more recent and more powerful CPU, the Intel Core i5-7400.

Ideal for gaming at 1920 x 1080 or on a 1080p HDTV with higher frame rates, the AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB offers a slightly better gaming performance than the Nvidia 1060 3GB (which is slower than the GTX 1060 6GB). Having more VRAM(4GB vs 3GB) will often help maintain performance with newer games using more memory.

Pros:

  1. Outstanding value, with a great CPU and video card at this price
  2. Great CPU: Intel i5-7400 Quad-Core 3-3.5GHz
  3. Great video card: AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB

About the CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8020A3

This is the newest version of my recommendation above.

The biggest change is the graphic card: instead of getting a Radeon RX 480 you get the improved Radeon RX 580, this means a slight upgrade in gaming performance due to higher frequencies and faster memory.

Other than that, you get the same CPU, RAM and storage.

Pros:

  1. Outstanding value, with a great CPU and video card at this price
  2. Great CPU: Intel Core i5-7400 Quad-Core 3-3.5GHz
  3. Great video card: AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB
  4. 8GB of DDR4 RAM
  5. 1TB storage capacity
  6. Included USB Wireless adapter
  7. Optical drive
  8. 6 USB 3.0 ports
  9. 2 USB 2.0 ports
  10. Displayport and HDMI video outputs
  11. 802.11AC WiFI USB Adapter
  12. Windows 10
  13. Keyboard and mouse are included
  14. Lifetime tech support with CYBERPOWERPC

Cons:

  1. No card reader

AMD Ryzen 5 1400, 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD + AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB

CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA3200BH

– $829.99 at B&H (Worldwide Shipping)

About the CyberpowerPC Gamer Master GMA3200BH

Compared to the main recommendation above, you get a more powerful CPU: the AMD Ryzen 5 1400 3.2-3.4GHz, 4 core Hyper-Threading processor.

You get the same great graphic card, the AMD Radeon RX 580 with 4GB of VRAM. Which means you get roughly the same gaming performance as the model above.

With the higher CPU performance, gaming performance will hardly suffer and other tasks will benefit from the higher performance CPU.

You also get double the RAM, 16GB instead of 8GB, which greatly improves this models ability to multi-task easily.

On top of that, you also get a larger 2 TB storage 7200RPM hard drive, instead of 1TB of storage, which means you get double the storage for your games!

Pros:

  1. Great CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1400 Quad-Core, hyper-threading 3.2-3.4GHz CPU
  2. Great video card: AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB
  3. 16GB of DDR4 RAM
  4. 2TB 7200RPM hard drive.
  5. Included USB Wireless adapter
  6. Optical drive
  7. 2 x USB 3.1 Type-A ports
  8. 4 x USB 3.0 ports
  9. 2 x USB 2.0 ports
  10. Displayport and HDMI video outputs
  11. Windows 10
  12. Keyboard and mouse are included

Cons:

  1. No card reader
