The Best Prebuilt Gaming PCs?

By that, I mean the prebuilt Gaming PCs that offer the best performance at prices from $750 to $1400.

Why write this article?

How much time do you have to research the best computer?

Many of us don’t have much time to read, or the knowledge to understand, detailed computer specifications nor reviews and just want to know:
What’s the best budget gaming PC for my needs?

I’m here to help you with this article. I believe that you deserve the computer that is the best for your needs. That way, your computer is working for you and not the other way around. This allows you to focus your full potential on realizing what you want, without being limited by your computer.

With 16 years of experience with computer hardware, researching, always up-to-date research with the newest parts, performance and prices, I know what matters in a computer.
See my About page for more information on me, Mathieu Bourgie, and this website, Hardware Revolution

I recommend the computers that offer the best performance at a given price, without sacrificing reliability of course.

Alternatives recommendations:

I also suggest alternative recommendations, with clear explanations as to why they are interesting alternatives.

About the CybertronPC Palladium GTX-1060E

This model is the least expensive high-performance model that I recommend. While there may appear to be less expensive options available to you, they are not worth buying. They are either equipped with an AMD FX CPU, which offers lower performance and will be a bottleneck or with a Geforce GTX 3GB (instead of 6GB), which is a lower-end graphic card with lower performance and 3GB of VRAM which is and will be a bottleneck for video games.

This Gaming PC is equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 dedicated graphic card with 6GB of graphic memory, 16GB of RAM and an Intel Core i5-6500 CPU.

It is capable of handling games at 1920 x 1080 (1080p or Full HD), with details at or close to maximum settings in all games.

Pros:

  1. Great cost for such a powerful prebuilt Gaming PC.
  2. Good CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 Quad-Core 3.2-3.6GHz.
  3. Great graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB of graphic memory.
  4. Plenty of RAM: 16GB
  5. 1TB 7,200rpm hard drive storage capacity
  6. Optical drive
  7. 7-in-1 card reader
  8. 8 USB ports total : 4x USB 3.0 and 4x USB 2.0
  9. 3x display port, 1x HDMI and 1x DVI video outputs
  10. Windows 10
  11. Keyboard and mouse are included

Cons:

  1. No Wireless adapter
  2. No SSD for a more responsive PC, faster boot-up.

Good value: Geforce GTX 1070 8GB

If you are looking for a desktop that offers an even better gaming performance and can run pretty much all games at maximum settings at a 1920 x 1080 resolution with high framerates, this model is a good choice for you.

  14. Looks good in my opinion

Cons:

  1. No card reader

If you are looking for a more compact and higher performance alternative, the MSI Nightblade x2 is a great choice. It weights 22 lbs which is 8 lbs less than the MSI Aegis and it’s about half the size: 6.92 x 13.61 x 10.92″.

Despite being lighter and more compact, it features the same high performance CPU and graphic card.

On top of that, you get 16GB of RAM which is double of what the MSI Aegis has, as well as a 256GB SSD to improve your Gaming PC responsiveness and boot up speed. Games installed on the SSD will load faster as well.

You also get integrated WiFi, which is quite useful if connecting via LAN isn’t a viable option for you.

Note that it’s also available with a Core i7-6700K and a Geforce GTX 1080, recommended further down in this article.

CyberpowerPC Gamer Supreme

CyberPower high end PC$1699.99 at B&H (Worldwide shipping)

If you don’t live in the U.S.A. and are looking for an alternative that ships worldwide, this model is the best choice for you.

It is also equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and has the same CPU as my previous recommendation.

You also get double the RAM with 32GB, which is more than enough to run multiple programs at once.
