About the Acer Aspire C27 27″

This is the least expensive model that I recommend, that offers good everyday performance. Sure, there are slightly less expensive models, but they are equipped with slow mechanical hard drives for their storage, making the whole PC feel slow and not responsive.

It is equipped with a modern Intel 10th generation Quad-Core CPU, which is capable of handling everyday tasks such as watching videos, listening to music, running Microsoft Office, e-mails and web browsing, all without a sweat.

With 12GB of RAM, you can also run multiple programs at once and multitask without any problem. Should you need more RAM, you can upgrade to 64GB (2x32GB).

It also features a nice modern design, which looks a lot better than bland black boxes, in my humble opinion.

Also, unlike many low cost models, it is equipped with a SSD, which means that your computer is a lot more responsive than models equipped with hard drives, which I simply no longer recommend in 2020. With a storage capacity of 512GB, you should have enough storage for most needs, otherwise you can always add an external drive.

Despite being a low-cost model, you get a fairly large size 27″ Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution screen, with an IPS display panel which offers a vibrant color reproduction, great contrasts and large view angles.

Pros:

  1. Great cost for what this model comes with.
  2. Intel Core i5-1035G1 Quad-Core + Hyper-Threading 1.0-3.6GHz
  3. Nvidia GeForce MX130 with 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM dedicated graphic card
  4. Large 27″ display with a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution
  5. IPS display panel : vibrant colors, great contrasts and large view angles.
  6. 12GB RAM
  7. RAM can be upgraded to 64GB (2x32GB)

  13. HDMI video output
  14. RJ-45 Ethernet port

  17. Wireless keyboard and mouse are included
