The Best Prebuilt Extreme Gaming/Creative Workstation PCs?

By that, I mean the prebuilt PCs that offer the best performance possible in video games.

Beyond video game performance, some of these PCs are so powerful, that I also recommend them for creative professionals that want to use their PC for gaming and as a powerful workstation. Some upgrades may be required, depending on your specific needs of course.

Why write this article?

How much time do you have to research the best computer?

Many of us don’t have much time to read, or the knowledge to understand, detailed computer specifications nor reviews and just want to know:
What’s the best PC for my needs?

I’m here to help you with this article. I believe that you deserve the computer that is the best for your needs. That way, your computer is working for you and not the other way around. This allows you to focus your full potential on realizing what you want, without being limited by your computer.

With 17 years of experience with computer hardware, researching, always up-to-date research with the newest parts, performance and prices, I know what matters in a computer.
See my About page for more information on me, Mathieu Bourgie, and this website, Hardware Revolution

I recommend the computers that offer the best performance at a given price, without sacrificing reliability of course.

For creative professionals:

If you are a creative professional, who also enjoys gaming, your rendering time will decrease by having a CPU with more cores. With the most powerful recommendation, you can even game while rendering, with a minimal hit to rendering times.

In order of performance and price, I recommend four Gaming PCs, all four with the most powerful dedicated gaming graphic, the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080 Ti. While there is a small variance in gaming performance between the four CPUs, it does not matter and here’s why: If you play at 1920 x 1080, the graphic card is so powerful that you will get such high framerates that it won’t matter. I mean, whether you get 150 or 165FPS isn’t going to make any perceivable difference. When you get into higher resolutions, the CPU hardly has an impact on the gaming performance.

In other words, the gaming performance between the following four PCs is, in a perceivable manner, similar. All recommendations offer outstanding gaming performance. Pick which one you want depending on the CPU that you want or need for your workload.

See our article on the best CPUs to help you compare these four CPUs and figure it out or leave a comment with your questions, what your typical workload consists of and I’ll get back to you with my recommendations.
