Note that while the model from Amazon and B&H differ in design, gaming performance should be pretty much identical, with the same CPU and graphic card. RAM and storage capacities are also identical.

Compared to the model above, this one is equipped with a more powerful graphic card: The Geforce RTX 2080 8GB.

It’s also equipped with a Core i7-8700K, not the newer i7-9700K. This is a 6-core CPU, compared to 8 cores for the i7-9700K. This hardly affects gaming performance, with the graphic card upgrade more than making up this small difference.

There’s also the fact that gaming PCs equipped with the Core i7-9700K are currently several hundred dollars more expensive, putting them squarely in the scope of Extreme Gaming PCs article and also making them pretty poor value.

It is also capable of running video games at a 2560 x 1440 resolution with high frame rates. It can handle gaming at a 4K resolution as well, but may have to turn down visual settings a notch or two to get good frame rates. If you want maximum details and very high frame rates, with the most powerful gaming graphic card, the Geforce RTX 2080 Ti, check the 4 Best Prebuilt Extreme Gaming PCs article instead.

Pros:

  1. Equipped with an Intel Core i7-8700K 6 Cores, 12 threads 3.7-4.7GHz CPU

  4. 240GB SSD for a more responsive PC, faster boot-up.
  5. 1TB 7200rpm hard drive
  6. Windows 10
  7. Keyboard and mouse are included
  8. 802.11ac WiFi
